Auto purging of junk/trash folders
There is an option in CLI to purge these folders, but it would be good to set these as options on a per domain basis, and have an auto-purge process to run daily to execute this.
23 votesThis feature is included in Axigen X2.

Disable IMAP folder visibility for non-mail class folders
Usually we do not want to expose Contacts or Calendar type folders to IMAP clients. We know that’s up to the client to ask only for folder class it’s interested in, by using the “CLASS” extension, but not all clients behave in this way.
For that reason other mail servers allow to restrict IMAP LIST output to only folders of class "mail".Ii would be useful if Axigen would be able to restrict IMAP folders visibility basing on folder's IPM class.

Handle attachments winmail.dat correctly
MIMEDefang is just a hack. Why is AXIGEN the only mail server on this planet which cannot handle attachments correctly?

Advanced SSL options / HTTP headers
Hello!
Is it possible to customize virtualhost configuration files (similar to Apache for example) in order to insert additional HTTP headers like:
- HSTS and preloading options
- HPKP - public key pinning options to avoid SSL man-in-the-middle
- SSL compression
- SSL staplingThis is a real must imo.. this makes using Axigen a lot safer!
84 votesIn Axigen X3, the following policies will be in-place for WebMail:
- Content-Security-Policy
- X-XSS-Protection
- X-Content-Type-Options
- Strict-Transport-Security (HSTS).
HPKP is deprecated by Chrome — we’ve decided not to support it for now.
Regarding the individual configurations “per virtual host”, we will not support this for now.
I will mark this issue as complete and if there are further needs on the topic, I will kindly ask you to open new suggestions.

Users should be forced to change their account password after first login. This feature is very commonly asked by Quality Auditors from security perspective and Axigen as Email product is not having this.

This will be working using the Axigen controlled clients (WebMail and Outlook Connector).

Remote ip-Support through a Proxy
I access my webmail through an Apache web-proxy. and the requesting IP in the log file is set to a local address.
Here's an example entry:
Code:08-04-2016 17:26:05 2016-04-08 17:26:05 +0200 02 servername WEBMAIL:0003397B: Authentication error for user 'user@mydomain.de': Invalid password from 127.0.0.1
My Apache Virtual-Host:
Code:<VirtualHost mail.mydomain.de:80>
ServerName mail.mydomain.de
ProxyPreserveHost On
ProxyRequests Off
ProxyVia Off
RemoteIPHeader X-Forwarded-For
RemoteIPInternalProxy 127.0.0.0/8
RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^/(.*) http://127.0.0.1:8080/$1 [P]
RequestHeader set X-Forwarded-For on
</VirtualHost>I want to add a Fail2Ban routine on my failed logon attemps, but I can not block an unwanted IP in cause of the local…
77 votesSupport for X-Forwarded-For is available starting with Axigen 10.3.3.3.
On another note, Proxy Protocol support will be also added in Axigen X4 (although it’s debatable whether or not it’s part of the scope of this feature request).

CalDav support
When I installed Axigen, I had been under the impression that it had full CalDAV support. Turns out it's only read-only ICS support. Having full and proper CalDAV support would allow you to support a variety of calendar clients without needing special plugins or whatnot.
As it stands, this is a dealbreaker and I'm now going to have to try something else, which is a shame because I otherwise really like Axigen.
9 votesCalDAV support is available in Axigen X1.

Integrate with CSF or Fail2ban
For easy and secure admin I think it is good to implement that.
24 votesThis is already available for some time. A how-to here: https://www.axigen.com/articles/fail2ban-linux-brute-force-attack-protection_82.html
NB: There's also a Windows integration: https://www.axigen.com/articles/rdpguard-windows-brute-force-attack-protection_84.html

implement parameter to turn off login via alias
At the moment you can log in via the web frontend or SMTP/IMAP using an email alias you have set up.
So for example if you have a user with the email user@domain.com and set up an account alias in the admin console like alias@domain.com you can now login at the web frontend or SMTP/IMAP with the user "alias" and the password of the user "user".This poses a security risk as I need to add in the alias "root" to receive some emails and I already had a few hacker attempts to login with the user root to SMTP.…
12 votesThis option will be available via CLI starting with Axigen X2 Update 2 (10.2.2), planned for the end of November, 2018.
Please note that for now the option will NOT be available when performing LDAP authentication.

Update Mobile WebMail
The Axigen mobile WebMail looks somewhat dated compared to both the new Ajax based WebMail and mobile webmail in competitor products. It could do with a face lift as well as added support for calendars, tasks, notes etc.
1 voteThe mobile WebMail has been redesigned for the next version, Axigen X.You can preview it by accessing https://www.axigen.com/#product_preview=webmail with a mobile device.

"mailto:" protocol handler that links to Axigen Webmail
Many webpages have 'mailto' links which currently do not link to Axigen webmail. Adding this functionality would be of benefit to all webmail users.
