Do not show first line of email content
It would be nice, if there is a personal setting, to disable the display of first line of email body.
I use webmail with activated reading pane and so this could help to save space to display more emails in list14 votes -
More skinning / branding possibilities or custom css
In Axigen X there are only limited branding possibilities.
In earlier versions there were more options here - siehe https://www.axigen.com/articles/advanced-webmail-skinning-sass-axigen-x3-update-2_76.html
It would be great, if would be possible again to create custom themes based on domain scope.
If the effort involved is too great, then it would help, if a custom css could be entered in domain configuration so css classes can be overwritten

Add a "pickup" folder to reprocess failed mail items
Have a folder where *.eml files or the like can be placed to process mail items. For example, we have a mail filter program GFIMailEssentials and items that fail to be processed go into a folder as a .txt file. Those items need a "pickup" folder to be reprocessed.

“Yesterday” or weekday name, if received this week
Full date (e.g., 07/07/2025), if older than a week
Is there a setting to always display the full date instead?

Currently, only the sender’s name is shown (e.g., “John Smith” or “Me, Patrick”). We’d like to also (or instead) see the full email address without opening the message. That way we can quickly recognize the company/domain without having to match a person’s name to it.3 votes -
Make "view quarantine" actually useful
Currently, the "View Quarantine" page in Webadmin is completely pointless - it doesn't do anything in most installations, as it doesn't show any info from the built in Bitdefender.
What would be FAR more useful is if the "View Quarantine" page could show emails currently stuck in Greylisting; quarantined by Bitdefender, or those otherwise blocked for breaching a rule.
There is NO way to see why an email has failed to deliver at the moment, especially within Greylisting & rule processing - this currently wasteful pane could be put to use far more successfully.

When printing sent letters, add the BCC field
When you create a letter there is a BCC field, and after sending this field is visible in webmail, but when printing it is missing

User managable mailing list
I would like to have the ability for normal users to be able to create and manage mailing lists from the GUI.
Maybe use the postmaster account to create the list from a simple csv file and name it.3 votes -

Wouldn't it be great if colors could be assigned to shared and private e-mail folders, similar to calendars?

Download the POP3 email from a specific date
If a POP3 user downloads old mails again because of not deleting emails after a previous download, causing lots of duplicates.

Repair account suggest
When you repair an account via cli, script create a new account renamed as .repaired. mails arrive during repair, goes to the original account.
Can be the process at the inverse? rename the original account. In this case, new mails goes to the repaired account, and when the proces finish, no need to rename the accounts.2 votes -
Schedule Send
It would be great to use custom timeslots within schedule send in Axigen Webmail (eg. per minute). Right now in webmail it is only possible to use schedule send with 30 minutes interval ...

Functionality to allow administrative users and groups to be controlled via LDAP or via SAML/OIDC/OAuth. It is a must-have feature for any MSP.

I would like to have standalone apps for desktops and mobile devices.

Multi select emails without preview
Make it possible to multi select emails without preview emails.
This is handy when you have a lot of spams you easily can identify via subject, mark them and select "Mark as spam" without need to see the content..
In periodes we get alot of XXX-related spam with images being loaded when email is being selected, thats not good practice.
Look at ie Outlook, Gmail and RoundCube where you can select many emails in list and choice what to do with it without preview every email being checked.3 votes -
2FA and app-passwords (like GMail, ...)
Dear Support,
it is very nice that you have set up 2FA (TOTP) support for webmail. However, in this way the functionality is unfortunately insufficient, as no additional security is achieved.
Example:
…My password is “simpler” and 2FA is enabled. In this situation, access to the webmailer is sufficiently protected, as a potential attacker would need to both guess or spy on the password and use the associated second factor (TOTP). However, since only the webmailer is secured, this unfortunately does not help very much. Access via SMTP, CALDAV/CARDAV, ActiveSync, IMAP is unrestricted with the simple password without a second35 votes
