  1. DNSBL per domain

Currently DNSBL is set on a server level by using:
    - Additional Antispam Methods -> DNSBL

Then those DNSBLs are used for each and every domain one has configured on a server.

I would like to propose the possibility to configure different DNS block lists for different domains. After all, not all domains need/want the same level of spam-DNS blocking.

This feature would give MSPs and email hosting companies the possibility to fine tune the DNSBL spam response of the server for particular customer/domain in regards to their (customers) needs.

  2. reCAPTCHA support for web login

It would be nice to support reCAPTCHA in web login. Google reCAPTCHA is not accessible in China. It would be nice to allow other reCAPTCHA plugin add into the webmail and webadmin access. i.e. GEETEST (https://www.geetest.com)

  3. Option to deactivate 2FA while accessing webmail service from internal network

Even though 2FA adds security, sometimes it is annoying while accessing webmail services from internal networks. Disabling this feature if you are accessing within the organization be helpful for scenarios where users are not allowed to carry mobile in the production environment.

  4. Ability to see domain and user storage size

Knowing the space used on a domain or email box is very important for us. I understand that there is a python script but the output cannot even be exported as csv because if its format so we can convert it to MB and see from top to lowest usage. Its just simple basic reporting that we are missing.

  5. Report / search activity with advance search criteria

debugging a specific non-expected activity via logs is a pain. To simplify, please give us a tracking center to search for a particular activity with white/black list action.

  6. automatic install of Axigen X4 minor updates

Older Axigen versions had a script to install minor updates scheduled. This script does not work anymore with X4.

Installing minor updates manually needs always a downtime, so scheduled minor updates would very welcome for X4.

Either any kind of script or - since X4 seems to be rpm based - for Red Hat based os just a repository we can add to yum.

This would make administration a lot easier.

  7. individual account class/group permissions customization

I have defined a number of classes to segregate the accounts as per required settings & tweaks based on roles in the organization.

I have delegated some rights to minor admins where I need to to allow them to change the class of an account to only a particular class if it belongs to default class.

The issue comes when I provide this right of class modification, they get complete rights in regard to class modification of an account which has some undesirable side-effects.

Is it possible to restrict the class modification to some particular class only & not any…

  8. preserve ML members

    Hello,

Recently I came across an issue where a ML had to be repaired therough command line admin tools.

The resulting repaired mailing-list, here referred as 'ML.repaired' had all the recovered mails except for the members in the original ML.

Such a recovery for a normal account is great but for a ML, it is expected to also populate the ML after mails recovery.

Since this side-effect wasn't obvious. The members had to be eventually added back to the recovered ML after a hue & cry was raised by the members for not receiving mails.

    Thank You.

  9. Attachment filtering per Domain

It would be useful if the attachment filtering feature would be available per domain.

Different companies have different policies on which attachments can be processed. (often within the framework of the GDPR rules of the respective companies). (so e.g. no MS Office attachments, executables, image files etc.).

Unfortunately, so far this cannot be mapped.

  10. Add option to keep messages containing calendar events

I would like a user option added to allow keeping the original email when responding to a calendar event. Sometimes a message may have other content that doesn't translate over to the calendar event that the user may want to keep. Thunderbird keeps the message but displays at the top that it contains an event that has already been processed.

  11. Please add DANE support

DANE is designed to frustrate mail traffic snooping by requiring the use of TLS encryption wherever possible during transport. Although we strongly recommend the implementation of SPF, DKIM and DMARC, DANE is entirely separate from those three standards. While SPF, DKIM and DMARC provide for the authentication and authorisation of an e-mail message's sender and sending host (at the SMTP-protocol level), DANE focuses on the security (confidentiality) of the transport (at the StartTLS-connection level).

  12. Using of Elliptic curve certificate

Using of Elliptic curve certificate in axigen, because we all know the if we use the RSA certifcate 2048 or 4096 for security the more cpu required on same side if we used Elliptic curve certificates we required less cpu utilization in great security.

  15. Search for attachment filenames

Please implement a search keyword for attachment type and filename:

    filename: myfile.pdf
    filetype: .pdf

    Like google does:

  16. Add log entries to the security log for "504 Auth type not supported“

Please consider adding message logging for Code 504 "Auth not supported."

To secure the mail environment there is already the security log where failed logins with code 535 are captured.
Actually we are able to parse this log with helper tools like fail2ban to act on above mentioned 553 failed logins and for example lock attackers out of the system.

But, if TLS is enforced prior to the authentication (for example via advanced routing) there is no 553 error message unless the attacker first secures the connection via TLS. Instead, if the attacker tries to send the credentials he will…

  17. Proxy for other web applications

Proxy for other web applications, such as crm. I would like any application to be proxied to an authorized user, so that the axigen mail server would be a single entry point. It should work on the principle of nginx proxying.

Applications I see that can be proxyed:
    CRM;
    ERP;
    CHAT;
    Document Flow.

  18. Huge improvement to SPAM protection (forged senders)

Within WebAdmin / Security & Filtering / Acceptance & Routing / Advanced Settings....

Please, please, please add a simple checkbox option to push incoming messages to the Spam folder whenever the incoming message has a "Return-Path" header string value that cannot be found within the "From" header string value.

That feature would complete the SPAM protection described at the following link, which currently does not stop SPAM with forged From addresses.

    https://www.axigen.com/knowledgebase/How-to-filter-emails-with-forged-headers_245.html

Why is this not a feature already?

  19. Sieve filters/script extensions

Please add support for the following use and may be other usable sieve extensions:

"Move the mail to a folder and if this folder, including subfolders, does not exist, create it (them) first."

    a) new tag :create for the action/extension fileinto
    b) the date extension - RFC5260
    c) the variables extension - RFC5229

To allow filtering like this - https://doc.dovecot.org/configuration_manual/sieve/examples/#archiving-a-mailinglist-by-date

  20. Message rules that include also hours as a condition

It would be very useful to have the possibility to create message rules that include also hours as a condition (for now, you can only set dates). For example, to forward all the e-mails that are sent to a certain e-mail account to another account from 2 PM to 6 PM, every day.
