    Hi Gabriel,

    there is also a need for a block if:

    IP address w.w.w.w has had x number of failed password attempts in the last y minutes. Block for z minutes

    this is what usually happens that hackers try to go through a number of different usernames and passwords. So please do not just do this per userid, please also do this per IP.
