  1. Authentication using Domain credentials in multiple Domain Environment.

It would be nice to give users of multiple domains the possibility to use their domain credentials for axigen authentication.

Currently, when we need to use Axigen server in multiple domains environment, tipically in ISP environment, we have to use dedicated LDAP or internal authentication.
    This is a limitation.
Axigen support multiple connectors with customer Active Directory, but we can't use a domain password for authentication (just dedicated LDAP or Internal authentication is supported).

I think it would be very useful if you could use the authentication "single sign on" using the Active Directory Credential for Axigen Authentication.

  2. Implement DMARC Support

Implement DMARC support for incoming e-mail.

In the webadmin console this would have the following configurations:

Action if the SPF\DKIM tests fail and the DMARC policy for the domain or subdomain is None - this should be a drop down list of:

    Deliver (deliver to recipient)
Spam (deliver to recipients spam folder)
    Quarantine (deliver to server quarantine)
    Reject (reject e-mail)
[Deliver or Spam being sane options]

Action if the SPF\DKIM tests fail and the DMARC policy for the domain or subdomain is Quarantine- this should be a drop down list the same options as above (Quarantine being the sane option).

  3. Add missing CLIAPI features

There are a number of CLIAPI features missing currently.

    For example :

Setting Filtered Email folder size quota and Filtered Email folder count quota in domain defaults.

ActiveSync and Outlook Connector last login (Only WebMail, IMAP and POP3 are currently possible)

  4. Execute rules on catch-all accounts

Currently filers and rules are not executed when using catch-all accounts. This feature is really important because especially when using catch-all additional filters would be really helpful to organize these mails.

I understand the request, but before we schedule this, I would like to better understand the actual use case.

@All: Could you please detail your catch all usage, with a practical example, and as well as give some examples as to what kind of rules you would create (e.g. 1. conditions, 2. actions)?

    Thank you,
    Gabriel

  5. 2FA and app-passwords (like GMail, ...)

    Dear Support,

it is very nice that you have set up 2FA (TOTP) support for webmail. However, in this way the functionality is unfortunately insufficient, as no additional security is achieved.

    Example:

My password is “simpler” and 2FA is enabled. In this situation, access to the webmailer is sufficiently protected, as a potential attacker would need to both guess or spy on the password and use the associated second factor (TOTP).
However, since only the webmailer is secured, this unfortunately does not help very much. Access via SMTP, CALDAV/CARDAV, ActiveSync, IMAP is unrestricted with the simple password without a second

  7. Bring back 32bit Linux support -or- provide an ARM7+ build

Currently use Axigen 9 on an ARM based server which relies on binary translation to run 32bit x86 programs (yes it is possible) but I'm limited to 32bit only, and since you've dropped support for 32bit builds, I am now unable to upgrade and cannot use newer versions of Axigen.

I suggest either bringing back 32bit builds for linux, or provide ARM builds for servers running that increasingly popular, energy efficient arch? ARM7 is already mainstream and supported by all the main Linux Distros, heck even Shoutcast now has an ARM build.

Ability to dynamically build signaures for users from within the WebAdmin. All users can then have the company standard signature without the ability to change.

  12. Support for OAuth

Both Microsoft and Google are implementing OAuth as an authorisation mechanism not only for webmail but also IMAP etc.

Are there plans for Axigen to implement OAuth support as an additional option?

  14. Support SAN certificates (Subject Alternative Name) for IMAPs and SMTPs

Support SAN certificates (Subject Alternative Name) for IMAPs and SMTPs to allow users to configure their clients using their own domainname, e.g.:
    - client A: mail.a-domain.com for SMTPs and IMAPs
    - client B: mail.b-domain.com for SMTPs and IMAPs
Currently, virtual TLS domains are only supported for WebMail, not for IMAPs and SMTPs

  15. Throttling outgoing mail

Throttling outgoing mail really helps with big ISP like google or (here in Germany) United Internet or T-Online. Right now we have to use a Postfix server as smarthost to establish this.

    Postfix documentation:

smtpdestinationconcurrency_limit: "The maximal number of parallel deliveries to the same destination via the smtp message delivery transport."

smtpdestinationrate_delay: "The default amount of delay that is inserted between individual deliveries over the same message delivery transport, regardless of destination".

smtpextrarecipient_limit: "This extra recipient space is reserved for the cases when the Postfix queue manager's scheduler preempts one message with another and…

  18. Multiple STMP Banner per single IP

At the moment there is no way to support mutiple banner to one single IP and same port.
When you need to support multiple domains behind Axigen, this is a needed feature.
    Please add it.

  19. Hide Received header from authenticated messages

Please consider to implement an option that will allow Axigen to hide (like not include) 'Received' header from the sent messages which are received through authenticated connections (for example through SMTP-IN or WEBMAIL services).

  20. Allow quarantine as well as reject for Additional Antispam Methods

Currently for the additional anti-spam methods (SPF checking, GeoIP checking, DNS blacklists, reverse DNS and MX record checking) the options are to deliver the e-mail or reject.

Add to these methods the ability to quarantine any e-mail failing the relevant checks (SPF checking, GeoIP checking, DNS blacklists, reverse DNS and MX record checking).
