high contrast themes and preview
We need themes for handicapped people with more contrast. I mean black fonts and white background and visible frames / borderlines.
In preview I need to see at least 20 mails (one or two lines per mail)9 votes -
Browser Notifications
Safari has them https://developer.apple.com/notifications/safari-push-notifications/
Firefox Has them https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/notification
Chrome Has them https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2015/03/push-notifications-on-the-open-web?hl=en
No one cares about Internet Explorer.. at least support the other three.
Supporting Safari notifications would cover all Mac users as well.
When a new email comes, a notification should appear... when the notification is clicked it should open up the browser to that email.
settings should include:
Client: notifications on or off
Admin: allow notifications

Offline Email Support For Webmail
Offline Email Storage support.
not much else to say about this. OWA (outlook web access) has this feature, basically the browser will store a local cache of the data. The User should be able to specify the amount of cache they want to use in the settings. There should also be options for the Admin to disable this and change the default cache amount.

On Notes, use a similar composer as email
I think having notes be html based like emails and using the same type of composer for email would be nice. This way text can be formatted, images and links added. Additionally, having more options for formatting would be ideal, however to keep things consistent, the same exact as the email composer would be just fine.

UI colors - Darker theme
The new theme feature is very interesting. Currently in the preview for the next release we can see 3 different themes: Ocean, Breeze, Neutral.
All 3 look very similar. A fourth theme with a darker background would be interesting. All those themes are a bit too white.
There is also not much distinction between the different elements of the GUI. All in the same white, clear tone.

Mehr Zeilen
Der Lesebereich (dort wo die Mails aufgelistet werden) könnte
weniger Abstand und kleiner Schriftart haben. Doppelt so viele Mails hätten Platz.
Unsere Kunden wünschen sich das.
So wie bei Ajax.2 votes -
Default date\time format for web mail to be based on domain timezone settings
The date format for calendar entries in webmail defaults to the US form of MM\DD\YYYY regardless of either the locale settings of the server (at least on debian) and also regardless of the default timezone setting configured for the domain through webadmin.
It would be far better for the timezone to be the same as the domain default timezone unless overridden by user preferences.

Warning about Out-Of-Office-Responder should consider timeframe
AXIGEN shows up a hint when Out-Of-Office-Responder is set. But it obviously only checks if it active in general.
From my point of view AXIGEN should also consider the timeframe set. Currently the warning comes up even the agent is outdated for ages.

Unlimited mailbox quota = 4 TB?
When there is no mailbox limit. AXIGEN shows in webmail:
You are using 7.6MB of your 4.0TB mailbox
<0.1%I think this makes no real sense this way.

Ability to filter contacts per group into address book when composing a new email
On version 8, it was possible to filter contacts per group into the address book. Now, this feature is not available anymore and was very useful.

find name from parts of name when writing an email
When I write a new email and type the first letters of a name I get automatically matches. Please make this working too, when I write a middle part of a name.
For Example:
I have "Justin Johnny Myles" as contact. He will be found, writing a new email, when I type "ju" or "jo" or "my" BUT I'd like to find him too, when I type "tin" or "ohn"....
Maybe it does not make sense for the moment but when I use German names with similar nameparts the feature makes sense.

Update web based mail list management
Managing a mail list (e.g. approving messages, subscriptions etc.) is not supported in the newer ajax interfaces and requires switching back to the old html interface.
it would be better if mail list accounts had a dedicated ajax\web based interface

More informative error notifications
If one user tries to send a message to another with the full mailbox (overquota) within axigen webmail domain, operation fails and he gets "the message could not be send" error though the address exists.

email drop to calende
like I can doi it in Outlook it would be fine droping mails to calender for reminding later
1 voteAdminGabriel (PM, Axigen) respondedAre you referring to dropping to calendar per se, or setting a date / time to be reminded about that email (like a follow-up flag)? Dropping to the calendar would actually create a calendar event out of it, right?

Adding categories to calendar
Hey guys,
it would be great if you add categories to calendar (like outlook), with the possibility to set individual colors to each category.
Yes, you can use categories through outlook. But our customers would need this function integrated in the webmail interface. Thanks a lot if you can make this happen.
Greetings Alex3 votesAdminGabriel (PM, Axigen) respondedAt this point, there is a (maybe less visible) feature in the webmail: to choose custom colors for each of your calendars — you can do this if you go to the calendar section and click the icon of a calendar folder.
Regarding the categories / labels, we don’t have any plans to add this in the near future (next 6 months). I will however leave this request open
- maybe we get more supporters :)
