Fine Tune Logging
Thanks for such a great product,
It would be better if you change way of generating and archiving log files on web admin. It will be more comfortable to have logs categorized as SMTP-in, SMTP-out ,... and specific date and duration . With existing log files we get confused to search in server and find relevant logs.
As you’ve probably seen, starting with Axigen X, the logs in WebAdmin are sortable, sorted by default by last changed.
I’m marking this as complete — if you have additional improvement requests regarding the log view, please add them as separate ideas.

they fixed all of my difficulties mentioned previously with the latest update. I can sort by date, last changed and of course name.

im pretty sure you can do the categorizing of logs already, under the log collection rules, you can set it so it does seperate logs for whatever you like. for example, using your smtp idea, I already have a "smtp-send" and "smtp-recieve" logfile.
however I will say that log file management is atrocious, there needs to be a sort option and a better ability to rotate logs. when I go to my "view log files" everything is in a weird order. There should be options to sort by Date (last modified) and name. Furthermore having the ability to view different type of logs in seperate sections would make things easier. such as going to "view log files" then a table of buttons that will lead to another table that has the particular category sorted by date, newest to oldest.. and the ability to change sort direction. Admin logs, are something I stuggle with on Axigen, I had to create a cron script to rotate the logs correctly as the "view log files" can quickly get messy and disorganized. but even with the cron script.. navigating is not so easy.
